The clothes hanging rod in the wardrobe should be determined according to the height. If you have short people at home, it is recommended not to make the clothes drying pole very high, otherwise it will be too painful to stand on tiptoes to dry clothes later. The installation height of the clothes rail should be the height of the owner plus 20cm. The distance from the upper edge of the clothes rail to the top of the cabinet is 40-60 mm.
3. Do not use sliding doors for wardrobes.
Many people think that sliding wardrobe doors save space, but in fact, sliding doors are very inconvenient. If there are unfolded clothes inside, the clothes will get stuck. When in use, only one side of the door can be opened, and the other side is closed. It cannot be opened like a double door. It is more convenient to open them all at the same time. In addition, the guide rail at the bottom of the sliding door is very easy to accumulate dust. I think it is better to use the double door.
4. The internal space layout of the wardrobe should be reasonably partitioned.
The indoor partition of the wardrobe should be determined according to the family's dressing habits. Generally, the partitions in the wardrobe will have long-sleeved areas, short-sleeved areas, and folding areas. If you like to wear long-sleeved clothes or long-sleeved jackets, then leave some space for the long-sleeved area. If you feel that the hanging area is too much space, you can set up multi-layer partitions to create folding areas. The storage function of the folding area is better than that of the hanging area. If you want to store more clothes, you can make more.
5. Never choose a fixed grid.
The wardrobe rack looks very practical. Visually, it can be used to store socks, belts, and other small items, but when you put it into practical use, you find that it is very difficult to use. This kind of grid is fixed and cannot fit larger items. It is recommended not to install this kind of fixed grid rack. In the future, you can directly buy those trellises that can be flexibly moved.
6. Don't choose a pants rack.
After many people move in, the utilization rate of the pants rack is very low. If your family doesn't usually wear trousers, hang or fold ordinary trousers after washing. Generally, they are rarely placed on pants racks, so it is not recommended to choose them. It is a waste of money and space.
7. Make more movable partitions.
The stacking area inside the cabinet should be partitioned with movable partitions that can be raised and lowered to facilitate flexible use in the future.
8. Remember to install a foldable dressing mirror in your wardrobe.
When customizing your wardrobe, don't save money on mirrors, which are not expensive either. Usually, it can be done for a few hundred dollars. Choose a mirror that can be folded so you don't have to worry about the cabinet facing the bed when the door is closed.
9. Wardrobe door panels should be buffered.
The wardrobe door panel must be cushioned, otherwise the noise will be loud when closing the door, so don't save money on it.
