The world’s first “KARL LAGERFELD HOTEL”, designed by Karl Lagerfeld himself, is due to open later this year in Macau, China
Although Karl Lagerfeld has designed suites and pools in other hotels, he has never been in charge of all hotel design.
Located in the Lisboa Resort Macau, the resort also houses Asia's first Palazzo Versace hotel and the Lisboa Palace hotel.
The 20-storey building contains 270 guest rooms and suites that blend Chinese and Western 19th century Art Deco elements.
A large statue of Choupette, lagerfeld's beloved cat, will be placed on the door and a silhouette of him will appear on the door card.
