Just a week after the opening of Bulgari Hotel Tokyo, Bulgari Hotels & Resorts has announced the grand opening of Bulgari Hotel Rome on 9 June. Located at 10 Piazza Augustus the Great in Rome, the birthplace of the Bulgari BVLGARI brand, the hotel is the ninth jewel in the crown of Bulgari Hotels & Resorts worldwide, adding to the history of Bulgari and its hometown of Rome, the "Eternal City".
The hotel has 114 rooms and suites, most of which are suites, each in white, yellow, red and green. Each room has a beautiful view of Piazza Augustus the Great or Via Frieza. Via Frieza is a typical Roman alleyway that has been transformed over time.
The Bulgari Suite's master bedroom has an elegant walk-in wardrobe and a spacious vanity with a dressing table, steam shower and a bathtub carved in white marble. To achieve the required dimensions, the bath was transported by crane to the vanity before the windows were installed to ensure a privileged experience for guests.
The terrace restaurant La Terrazza is equipped with a pergola and sofas and looks out over the stunning skyline of Rome. Italian tapas are served throughout the day, complementing the cosy setting. La Terrazza was designed by designer Parc Nouveau and features a typical Roman terrace decorated with more than 200 vases of beautiful flowers inspired by the ancient Roman landscapes of Villa di Livia, Villa Adriana and the city of Rome. The 1500m² Bulgari Spa is a true place of renewal, recreating the magnificent atmosphere of the ancient Roman baths: marble columns stand in the pools and warm sunlight reflects through the stained glass windows, illuminating the warmth and soothing atmosphere inside. A harmonious retreat for balancing body, mind and spirit, it comprises nine treatment rooms, a 25m swimming pool and a vitality pool with shimmering mosaic tiles on the walls inspired by the historic Terme di Caracalla Baths. In addition, the spa offers professional treatments from premium German skincare brand Augustinus Bader to rejuvenate the potential of each guest's body and mind. The Bulgari gym, located next door, is equipped with cutting-edge facilities and uses personal trainer Lee Mullins' WORKSHOP fitness programme specially designed for Bulgari.
