Marriott International recently announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with Xiamen Shengyuan Cultural Tourism Development Co. to bring its iconic, century-old luxury brand, The St. Regis, to Xiamen for an opening in 2027. The highly anticipated signing will be the first St. Regis Xiamen hotel in Fujian Province, offering the destination a series of exquisite experiences with the St. Regis' renowned classic rituals, charming brand spirit, centuries-old heritage and signature butler service.
As a major port on China's southeast coast and a popular leisure destination, Xiamen is also one of China's seven special economic zones. The future St. Regis Xiamen will be located in the Huli district in the eastern part of the island, as part of the core cross-strait financial centre. The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to the city's two major international airports and the high-speed rail station.

Inspired by local culture and the surrounding ocean, the newly-launched St. Regis Xiamen is expected to feature 260 rooms/suites with ocean views, including suites, with stunning coastal views. The hotel also plans to offer five distinctive fine dining venues, with a full-service restaurant, a Chinese restaurant and a signature specialty restaurant, in addition to the St. Regis branded St. Regis Bar and Lounge.
The hotel is also expected to feature a fitness centre, an indoor swimming pool, the St. Regis Spa and a children's club of approximately 300 square metres with indoor and outdoor children's play space and St. Regis Family Privileges for families to enjoy. The hotel will also offer a banqueting and meeting space of approximately 1,800 square metres to cater for every celebration and meaningful gathering.
